"It has been approximately 27 years since I have been doing business with you and purchasing Norelco dictating products. In 1971 my original partner and I purchased 2 dictating machines and 2 transcribing units and used them daily for 10 years. When we expanded in 1981, we purchased updated units and passed along the used units to the younger associates. The original units lasted approximately 14 years from the date of purchase with minimal repair.

In 1983, my original partner and I separated each retaining the equipment we had been using. In 1997 I finally decided to replace the transcribing unit and only recently the dictation unit. I know for a fact that my old partner still has and uses his 1981 units. Though they required minor repairs, they have proved to be both a good utilitarian and financial investment.

You should feel free to recommend to purchasers of this equipment that they call to confirm my experience with Norelco products. The units I have bought recently should suffice until such time as I intend to retire. The average cost of this equipment to date has been something like $22.00 per year including any warranty and repair contracts. It has been a phenomenal investment on capital equipment."

As you know, our past experience with lesser quality equipment required that we change transcription equipment and tapes nearly every month or so.
